Flower: Inconspicuous green brown flowers, dense tussock
Foliage: Weeping, pale green to bronze leaves 1.5′ long with silver tips

Moisture: Average. Consistently if grown in full sun during high season
Use: Low maintenance, easy to grow, year round but Winter interest. Accent, beds, borders, containers, edging, ground cover, naturalizing, rockery, stunning in mass, meadow, waterside. Deer & rabbit resistant
Tolerances: Drought, occasional standing water, part shade
Notes: May reseed in ideal conditions. Grown for foliage. Cut to 4-5″ in late Winter to early Spring, leaving 1/3 of plant in place. Slow spreading by rhizomes & seeds. Divide every three years in Spring

Carex comans ‘Frosted Curls’ Seed Propagation
Indoors: Surface sow 4 seeds per plant, in pots. Cover thinly with 1/8″ soil or sand. May cover with plastic. Maintain 64-72F. Keep moist until germination 21-24 days then apply more light. Transplant as necessary. Plant out the following year 18″ apart
Outdoors: Transplant recommended
