Cottage/Informal/Natural Garden, Borders and Beds, Dry Gardens & Rockeries. Edible Flowers. colorful garnish to soups, salads and the punch bowl.
Problems: Wont tolerate wet soil, especially in winter & keep mulch away from plants. Susceptible to stem rot if planted in clay.
Notes: easy to grow, fast growing. Deadheading encourages re-bloom
Mix in plenty of well-rotted organic matter when planting and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer once a month throughout spring and summer
