Type: Deciduous Clumping Ornamental Grass, Variegated with light yellow horizontal bands
Bloom: Late Summer to early Fall
Flower: 2′ Pinkish white plumes turning silvery tan
Height: 5-7′ tall x 4-6′ wide
Light: Full Sun to part shade
Soil: Moderately fertile, somewhat moist, well drained, sandy loam

Tolerances: Variety of soils, including dry. Heat & humidity. Mature Zebra grass tolerates drought once established, erosion & environmental pollution

Miscanthus sinensis Seed Propagation
Indoors: Surface sow 4-5 seeds per cell or pots. No cover Maintain 68F & keep moist until germination 2-3 weeks. Transplant out in 6-8 weeks by pricking out strongest to 36-48″ apart after risk of frost (mid April) or when soil temperatures are reliably above 70F
Outdoors: Transplant recommended
