Hydrangea quercifolia Seed Propagation
Indoors: Thinly surface sow to containers, flats or plugs of moist seedling medium, press in to gently firm. Cover with humidity doe or clear plastic. Keep moist. Protect from cold wind. Needs light to germinate 2 weeks. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant to larger container & grow on before hardening off to transplant into garden 15-18″ apart
Outdoors: Thinly surface so to packs or flats or moist medium. Cover with clear plastic, pane of glass & position in unheated greenhouse in Fall & Spring. Grow on as above
