Helichrysum bracteatum Seed Propagation
Indoors: Surface sow 4-6 weeks before last frost. Press in, no soil cover. Keep moist with bottom water trays. Maintain 70-75F for germination 7-10 days. Transplant to pots when first true leaves appear & grow on at slightly cooler temperatures 65-70F am 60F pm. Harden off for 1 week before transplanting outdoors 12″ apart
Outdoors: In Spring, after danger of any more frost, surface sow seeds to moistened prepared bed in sunny location. Press in to firm, do not cover with soil. Thin to 12″ apart. To protect from rodents, probably cats, cover with chicken wire & rock down. Easy to remove once seedling have become established
