Moisture: 1-2″ morning water per week, maintain evenly moist, decrease late season to allow fruit to mature

Notes: Can use as zucchinis just after pollination or left to mature. Will produce over long season if picked & kept protected from winds, frost & cold temperatures. Keep weed free. Harvest when small promotes production

Curcurbita pepo Seed Propagation
Indoors: Direct sow recommended. March to April or 3 weeks before planting in the garden, sow 3 seeds 1/2-1″deep on their side per 3″ paper or peat pots as Marrow doesn’t transplant well. Maintain 65-75F for germination 7-14 days. When 2-3″ tall, thin to one plant per pot
Harden off in cold frame. Plant out into prepared beds 4′ apart no later than June 15 in full sun at required spacing
Outdoors: Direct sow from May to mid June, when soil has warmed, 1″ deep in hills 8′ apart, 4-6 seeds per hill. Use jars, plastic or cloches for 2 weeks. Germination 7-12 days. Thin to 2-3 plants per hill spaced 6-15′ apart. Matures 55-65 days
