Verbena bonariensis Seed Propagation
Indoors: Sow 8-12 weeks early in 2” pots, barely cover. Needs darkness to germinate which is slow & irregular over 20 days. Maintain 70-75F. Can use humidity dome
but remove once germinated.
Transplant to garden 24” apart & then pinch back to encourage bushiness
Outdoors: Direct sow in Autumn & again early Spring, covering 4x thickness of seed
Thin to 12-24” apart
